Monica A. Benson
Monica A. Benson is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Monica was recently named as a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer Rising Star in the field of Elder Law for 2010, a designation awarded to no more than 2.5% of eligible attorneys. Monica was recently honored as the Guardianship Services 2010 Ad Litem Attorney of the Year. Monica is a frequent speaker in Fort Worth and surrounding communities, including the annual Alzheimer's Association Symposium for the North Central Texas Chapter, the Let Someone Know Event, training sessions for volunteers with Guardianship Services, and can provide CEU presentations for nurses and social workers. Monica is a Fort Worth native and a fifth generation Texan. When not at the office, Monica spends her time refereeing between her two dogs, Molly and Oliver, and her cat, Picasso, as well as training to run half marathons.
