May was established as Older Americans Month in 1963 as a time to honor and recognize the contributions that older Americans make to our society. For the last several years, the Tarrant County Area Agency on Aging has taken the opportunity to honor not only older adults in Tarrant County, but advocates for older adults.
We are proud that Steve Katten was recognized yesterday for his contributions by being named Outstanding Advocate for Older Adults by the Tarrant County Area Agency on Aging. Congratulations, Steve!
